The Port Angeles Farmer's Market highlights locally grown produce and fresh fruits, crafts, art, bread, fish, coffee and much more! Clallam County is home to some exceptional farmers, and they are committed to growing over 100 varieties of greens, roots, fruits, grains and eggs.
Spring on the Olympic Peninsula brings tender spinach, radishes, rhubarb and lettuces. Then its into the strawberries, arugula, bunch beets, sweet carrots, green beans, blueberries, raspberries, gooseberries, globe artichokes, green onions, fennel, zucchini, etc. By the time fall rolls around, we are swimming in chards, kales, squash, potatoes, garlic, corn, pears, apples and plums to name a few.
The PAFM is a YEAR ROUND MARKET! Which means that 12 months a year, you can eat delicious nutritious food and support your local economy. Winter is packed full of collards, brussel sprouts, cabbage, beets, rutabagas, turnips, sauteeing greens, carrots, etc.
Farmers are not the only ones setting up tents every Saturday. You'll also find the Elwha Apiary selling honey and local craft vendors selling soaps, pottery, lavender products and jewelry.
